Where we started
What started as an integrated solution for mechanical service evolved into a state-of-the-art sheet metal and metal fabricating shop. At CGR we offer a wide range of services in the HVAC/Mechanical, commercial and industrial industry. Our team and shop have the expertise and equipment to build standard and custom-made metal products.

The shop
Everything on the four capability pages gets made on this floor: HVAC Sheet Metal, Metal Fabrication, Custom Commercial & Industrial, and Repairs & Modifications. Same people, same machines, whichever page you came in from.
A 10-foot hydraulic press brake and shear handle the forming, a plasma table handles the flat work, and TIG and MIG welding puts it together, stainless and aluminum included. Sheet stock comes in, your finished part goes out, with no detour to another shop in between.
Five industries buy from this shop: marine, defence, aerospace, port, hospitality, real estate, and retail. Based in Halifax and serving Halifax Regional Municipality and the Maritimes, with fabrication shipped across Canada.
