What we repair and modify
The same shop that forms new duct and metalwork takes on the piece that's there now. Duct and fittings, exhaust hoods, enclosures and cabinets, machine guards, tanks and hoppers, stainless counters and sinks, brackets and supports. If it started as sheet metal, it can be fixed as sheet metal.
Repairs. Damaged sections come out and new ones go in, cut and formed on the same press brake and plasma table as new work, then welded back. Spot welding for sheet-to-sheet joins, TIG or MIG where the joint calls for it, including stainless.
Retrofits. New equipment on an old footprint. A curb adapter so a replacement rooftop unit lands on the existing curb, or a transition so new duct meets the run that's staying.
Modifications. Not broken, just not right for the job anymore. An opening added, a bracket welded on, a counter shortened, a duct run redirected.
Most of this work goes in around other trades. The metalwork gets fitted to what's in place, not the other way around.

Materials and finishes
Your existing piece sets the spec. Galvanized to galvanized, stainless to stainless, and the same gauge as the original wherever it can be measured. Stainless comes back brushed or polished to sit beside the finish that's there.
If you don't know the gauge, put a tape measure in the shot. We'll work it out from that.
How to order
Send a photo of the piece and tell us what's wrong with it, or what has to change. Rough dimensions help. So does knowing what it's attached to and whether you can take it down.
You'll hear back with questions if we have any, then a price on the job.
Some pieces come to the shop. Some can't. Say which, and we'll sort out the rest with you.

Common questions
Yes. It doesn't matter who built it or how long ago. Send what you've got on it and we'll tell you what the fix takes.
No. A clear photo, a rough size, and a note on what's wrong or what has to change will get it started. If you've got a drawing or an old spec sheet, send that too, but plenty of repair work starts with neither.
Both happen. The piece decides: whether it comes down, whether it can travel, and what it's tied into. Tell us where it is and we'll work out which way makes sense.
Sometimes the honest answer is replace it, and if that's the case you'll hear it from us. Send it over and you'll get a straight read, with a price attached to whichever route it is.
